In the Mongol Derby, riders from all over the world race semi-wild horses across the Mongolian Steppe.

The horses are owned by nomadic herder families and the team behind the race employ the families to host the riders. Tom Morgan took on the epic task of launching the world’s longest equestrian endurance competition in 2009.
